ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1940s or 1950s Merrimack County, New Hampshire Deputy Sheriff badge in a lapel or wallet size. The small badge is topped by an eagle and has a Seal of the State of New Hampshire at center. Merrimack County contains the Granite State's capital city, Concord, and is named for the Merrimack River.

VINTAGE: Circa 1940s-1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin on bar with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an old New Hampshire police and law enforcement badge collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX14 LDEX8/14 SBEX6/17

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge has small areas of light wear.
