ARTIFACT: 1940's American Motorcycle Association (AMA) 3 year member lapel pin. The gilt brass and enamel pin reads: "AMA" with a number "3" in gilt brass against a blue enamel background and below it reads: "YEAR MEMBER".

VINTAGE: Circa 1940's

SIZE: Approximately 1/2" x 9/16"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with "C" type catch

MARKINGS: Maker's mark (see photo)

ITEM NOTES: This is from a motorcycle collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VHM16 LDJX8/16

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine—Very Fine): The lapel pin shows moderate to heavy wear, some of the gilt brass and enamel details remain intact, overall very fine condition.
