ARTIFACT: This is a 1940 Pennsylvania Resident Citizen's fishing license celluloid badge. 

The badge was made by Whitehead & Hoag of Newark, New jersey and is numbered 227313.

VINTAGE: Circa 1940.

SIZE: Approximately 1-11/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid-wrapped tin.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pin, slot in back plate.

MARKINGS: THE WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. NEWARK N.J. PAT. number on reverse; union mark on edge.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an old Pennsylvania hunting and fishing license collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. NEX14 LCIX3/14 SCIX12/20

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge has some light wear and two small cracks to the surface.
