ARTIFACT: This is a 1938 Portland, Maine Fire Dept Retirement Badge of Henry A. Chase Engine 2. This badge came together with 1880's -1890's Portland, Main Fire Department Badge # 76 and 1890's - 1910's Portland Maine Fire Department Engine 2 Hat Badge.

VINTAGE: 1938.

SIZE: Approximately 2" in height x 1-3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold plated brass with black painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with come-under locking catch.
