ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1938 Minneola, New York American Legion Nassau Police Post member badge. The small shield-shaped badge is numbered 1050 and has the original owner's name engraved on reverse. The badge is by Dieges & Clust in high-quality gilt bronze with enamel.

VINTAGE: Circa 1938.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 1" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt bronze, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin, drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: Fred'k B. Frimel engraved on reverse. D&C (Dieges & Clust maker mark) 1/1010KGB.
