ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1935-1940 Belgian Army Air Force enlisted man hat badge for a dress uniform. The badge is a finely detailed wing with a the cypher of Leopold III at center, two tilted "L"s and a Roman numeral III. He ruled Belgium from 1934 until 1951.

VINTAGE: Circa 1935-1940.

SIZE: Approximately 1" in height and 2-9/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Prongs.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge has some light wear and some spots of minor oxidation.
