ARTIFACT: This is a German tinnie commemorating the death of Albert Leo Schlageter at Dusseldorf in May 1933. Schlageter was a German World War I veteran executed by the French who would posthumously become a cultish Nazi hero, gaining him a mention in Mein Kampf and even rituals established to remember his death.

VINTAGE: Circa 1933-1945.

SIZE: About 1-15/16" in height and 1-3/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Stamped brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin.

MARKINGS: PAULMANN LUDENSCHEID.

ITEM NOTES: The tinnie you receive will either be the one pictured or one in similar condition. This is from a Nazi Germany tinnie collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBJX95 LDEX8/10

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The tinnie has light to medium wear and tarnish.
