ARTIFACT: 1930's - WWII Schwitzer Corporation employee badge. The Schwitzer Corp. is based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. The company-built specialty pumps and fans, many ordered under WWII military contracts. The employee badge features a round, blue painted center that reads: "HYX DUTY" and a red painted ring surrounding it that reads: "SCHWITZER CORPORATION". The base of the badge shows: "30 - 25".

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's - WWII

SIZE: Approximately: 2" x 1 5/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted nickel

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop in swivel locking catch.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The employee badge shows moderate wear, pin is slightly bent and does not impede functionality, and much of the painted details remain intact.
