ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1930s or World War II employee photo identification badge for the New York, New Haven & Hartford (N.Y., N.H. & H.) Railroad. The N.Y., N.H. & H operated from 1872 until 1968. The badge was issued to a worker at the company's Maybrook Yard facility in New York, once a major transfer point to New England.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s-World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel-plated brass, celluloid, paper, photograph.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pin, backing plate.

MARKINGS: 26570 on photo.

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The badge has some minor wear and a few areas of rusting.
