ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1930s - World War II sports award badge for the Italian Fascist Youth. The group began in 1926 as the ONB (Opera Nazionale Balilla) and was renamed GIL (Giuventu Italiana del Littorio) in 1937.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s-World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-5/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin with saddle.

MARKINGS: STAB ARTISTICI FIORENTINI.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows some small areas of light wear and tarnish.
