ARTIFACT: This is a rare, US Air Corps or United States Army Air Forces 13th Fighter Squadron, 53rd Fighter Group, 3rd Air Force jacket patch. The 13th was active under the 53rd Fighter Group from 1941-1944, and in Panama earlier. The large Chenille patch features the head of an angry bull at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's - early World War II.

SIZE: About 5-1/2" in height x 5-1/2" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chenille embroidery on wool.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto Flight Clothing.

MARKINGS: None.
