ARTIFACT: This is a pair of 1930's era MK1 style Fischer pilot goggles. This style was favored by United States Navy pilots and pre-war military aviators. The glasses come with an aluminum coffin box.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's.

SIZE: Box: 10"x 4".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Box: aluminum; goggles: glass, black plated brass, natural rubber pads.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: Box: FISCHER PILOT GOGGLE. MADE IN USA; inside pad: "33183", "J.W. McCAU??"

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine): The goggles are in pretty good shape considering how quickly pads degrade. The rubber is in decent condition, the dark gray pads are cracked but still whole and attached to frame. Strap elasticity is brittle. Box is scratched from use.
