ARTIFACT: This is a 1930s distinctive insignia for the United States 17th Field Artillery Regiment by Meyer. The DI shows the castle of Ehrenbreitstein at its center with a diagonal bend bearing seventeen stars.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 1" in height 13/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing, 2 stabilization points.

MARKINGS: N.S. MEYER NEW YORK with raised maker mark.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months VAX95 LBDX10/11 SBDX08/20

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The DI shows only very light wear.
