ARTIFACT: This is a 1930s distinctive insignia for the United States Army 108th Engineer Regiment by Wright & Street. The DI shows a coiled serpent above a Y bearing four stars and reads MAGNA EST VERITAS (great is truth).

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 1" in height and 3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: WRIGHT & STREET INC. CHICAGO.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL90 LBGX10/11

CONDITION: 6 (Fine+): The DI shows has some spots of light to medium wear and tarnish, some oxidation and one small area of missing enamel.
