ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1930s Portsmouth (NH/ME) Naval Shipyard worker specialty badge for a progressman, whose job it is to keep track of yard projects and file reports on their progress. The shield-shaped badge is numbered 04 and made in Monel.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" in height and 1-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Monel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety pin.

MARKINGS: 04 on front.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a pre-WWII USN shipyard worker badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MAZ14 LCHX6/14

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge has some light abrasions.
