ARTIFACT: This is a lapel pin for the National Association of State Aviation Officials, which was started in 1931, before the Civil Aeronautics Authority was launched. The pin is a petite wing showing a blue shield reading NASAO at center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 3/16" in height and 3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with painted area.

ATTACHMENT: Singles screw post with disc backing and one stabilization post.

MARKINGS: THE GREENDUCK CO. CHICAGO.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Wing has some small spots of light wear and tarnish.
