ARTIFACT: This is a badge for the Boston and Maine Railroad's "Snow Train", which operated from 1931-1971 during the winter to bring adventurers from Massachusetts to slopes and villages in Vermont and New Hampshire. The badge shows a man cross-country skiing and reads BOSTON & MAINE R.R. SNOW TRAIN.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/16" diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with "C" catch.

MARKINGS: N/A.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Pin shows light wear and tarnish.
