ARTIFACT: This is a 1930s American Airlines oval celluloid badge by Bastian Bros. It is in red, white and blue and shows the American wing at center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 1-9/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid-wrapped tin with brass pin, paper backing.

ATTACHMENT: Straight pin.

MARKINGS: BASTIAN BROS. CO. MFR'S OF RIBBON, METAL AND CELLULOID NOVELTIES ROCHESTER, N.Y. with union mark stamp.

ITEM NOTES: The badge you will receive will be either the one pictured or one differing, if at all, in only the smallest details. This is from an airlines collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. RON LFJX11/10

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Badge shows very little wear and tarnish except for a slight rip in paper backing.
