ARTIFACT: 1930's ??? 1940's Oakmont Borough, Pennsylvania Volunteer Fire Department Co. #1 badge. The shield shaped badge is topped with a spread-winged eagle with a bowed head and reads: "OAKMONT BOROUGH CO. 1 VOL. FIRE DEPT."

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's ??? 40's

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/2" x 1-3/4

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome plated brass, black paint

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop in locking swivel catch

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a fire fighting and rescue collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MEM07 LFEX9/16

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The badge shows moderate to heavy wear, much of the plated and black painted details remain, overall very fine condition.
