ARTIFACT: Nice 1930's - 40's Merced County, California Special Deputy shirt badge by LA Stamp & Stationary Co. The 6-point star badge is finely detailed and the center reads: "SPECIAL DEPUTY SHERIFF MERCED CO." and the reverse of the badge shows the maker's mark: "LA STAMP & STY. CO.".

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's - 40's.

SIZE: Approximately 2" x 1-3/4".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated nickel and black paint.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety style pin with come under catch.

MARKINGS: "LA STAMP & STY. CO."

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine - Excellent): The badge shows minor to moderate wear, nearly all the plating and painted details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
