ARTIFACT: This is a 1930s-1940s lapel pin in the shape of a Douglas DC-3 aircraft. The Douglas was produced from 1936 through 1942 and again in 1950. The pin is a view of the aircraft obliquely from its side.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s-1940s.

SIZE: Approximately 5/8" in height and 7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with painted details.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with C catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: The pin you receive will either be the on pictured or one in similar condition. This is from an airlines collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX98 LEEX7/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pin shows some light wear and tarnish and a few small bits of paint are worn away.
