ARTIFACT: 1930's - 1940's Portsmouth, New Hampshire fire department hat badge in excellent condition. The center shows a fireman's helmet, hook, hose, ladder, and horn in raised detail and surrounding it reads: "PORTSMOUTH FIRE DEPT. N. H." in black painted detail and the top of the badge features an eagle with wings spread and a bowed head.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's - 1940's.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/4" in height x 1-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome plated brass, black painted details.

ATTACHMENT: Single post with screwback and stabilizer pin.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a fire fighting and rescue collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBEL16 LHEX4/16 SBEX04/22/21

CONDITION: 9- (Excellent+): The badge shows minor wear, the chrome plating and painted details remain fully intact, overall excellent condition.
