ARTIFACT: This is an old Contractors Service Pass badge for a person working for the Heywood-Wakefield furniture company.

VINTAGE: 1930s-40s.

SIZE: 1-3/4" diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid, paper, steel.

ATTACHMENT: Single post with screwback

MARKINGS: WHITEHEAD & HOAG in a circle.

ITEM NOTES: These type of badges were heavily used at factories during and before WWII. I have never seen a badge like this from the Heywood-Wakefield Co. ebay VAJX00 SLEHX12/14

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine—Excellent): Light wear/ tarnish to steel rim, paper and celluloid are perfect.
