ARTIFACT: This is a beautifully enameled souvenir badge from the 1927 American Railway Association (ARA) meeting held in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This badge was for the Signal Appliance Association, a part of the Signal Section of the event, a very important consideration for both safety and profit in the field. The badge is by J. R. Gaunt.

VINTAGE: Circa 1927.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with tongue-style C catch.

MARKINGS: J. R. GAUNT.
