The leather belt has nine ammunition pouches and was made by Lamontagne Limited of Montreal in Quebec, Canada. There is a mark (an arrow within a C) at the rear of the belt showing that the bandolier was approved for use by the Canadian Army.

VINTAGE: Circa 1925.

SIZE: Approximately 3" in width (height of each pouch is 4-1/4") and 42" in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Leather, brass.

ATTACHMENT: Buckles, rivets, tabs.

MARKINGS: B. R.C.D. 6, LAMONTAGNE LIMITED MONTREAL CANADA 1925 and arrow inside C ("Canadian Army approved" mark).

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Great Britain and Commonwealth collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX09 LHEX2/12 SGEX2/12
