ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1920s lapel pin for the Boston-based "Big Brother Club" radio show on WEEI hosted by Bob Emery. Emery had been "Big Brother" on WGI, but was wooed by WEEI, a new and financially stable station run by Edison Electric Illuminating Company, in the fall of 1924. There he picked up again with his hugely popular broadcasts. The pin reads BEBBC (Boston-Edison Boston Broadcasting Company) WEEI, and is in the shape of a lightbulb.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920s.

SIZE: Approximately " in height and in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with tongue-style C catch.

MARKINGS: W. & H. CO. (Whitehead & Hoag mark).
