ARTIFACT: This is a circa late 1920s tin pin showing the "Spirit of St. Louis", the airplane Charles Lindbergh piloted in his historic transatlantic flight in May 1927. The pin is by David C. Cook Publishing of Elgin, Illinois.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1920's.

SIZE: Approximately 5/8" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted tin.

ATTACHMENT: Straight pin.

MARKINGS: DAVID C. COOK PUBLISHING CO. ELGIN ILLINOIS.

ITEM NOTES: The pin you receive will either be the one pictured or one in very similar condition. This is from a civil aviation collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. RAV88 LCHX7/12 SCHX06/01/21

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The pin shows some small spots of light to medium wear.
