ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1920s Nederlandsch-Amerikaansche Stoomvaart-Maatschappij (Netherlands-American Steam Navigation Company), or NASM for short, Established in April 1873, this company became known as the Holland-America Line, and had an official name change in 1971. The pin is a green and white enameled flag bearing the letters N.A.S.M. The surface of the flag is slightly wavy in texture.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920s.

SIZE: Approximately 7/8" in height and 5/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pin with saddle.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a nautical and ocean liner collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MHX13 LFJX4/13

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pin shows only some light wear with very minor crazing to the enamel.
