ARTIFACT: 1920's – 1930's Velodrome Cycling Racing Club member lapel pin. C__ (Century?) Cycling Club. Velodrome cycling takes place on an oval track and the bicycles do not have any brakes. The velodrome cycling was established as an Olympic Sport in the late 1800's and continues today. The pin features a velodrome rider in lovely relief detail and above the letters: "C C C" are engraved.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920's – 1930's

SIZE: Approximately 3/4" x 1/2"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop in locking swivel catch

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a bicycling and Olympic sports collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBX16 LEEX3/16

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine—Excellent): The pin shows minor to moderate wear mostly to high points, much of the gilt details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
