Circular bronze-colored medal suspended from pin-back bar; bar engraved "SEPTMBER 18, 1912", obverse of medal inscribed "THE LIFE SAVING BENEVOLENT ASSOCIATION OF NEW YORK/INCORPORATED 1849"; reverse inscribed "VITA FELICIBUS AUSIS SERVATA / AWARDED TO BESSIE O'NEILL / FOR SAVING / HUMAN LIFE / IN PERIL"

VINTAGE: Circa 1912's.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2" daimeter, Bar: 1-1/8"x 1/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt bronze

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick type pin with a tongue type C type catch.
