ARTIFACT: This is a 1910s-1920s YWCA lapel pin. Originally christened as the Ladies' Christian Association, the initials YWCA were used eight years later in 1866. The pin is a triangle enameled in blue and black. The reverse reads: "BENNETT MFG. CO. N. Y."

VINTAGE: Circa 1910's – 1920's

SIZE: Approximately ½" x ½"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass and enamel

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop in swivel locking catch

MARKINGS: "BENNETT MFG. CO. N. Y."

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Young Men and Young Women's Christian Association collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX02 LDJX8/15

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): Pin shows minor to moderate wear, much of the enamel and plating details remain intact.
