ARTIFACT: This is a Sagamore No. 1 Portsmouth Fire Department parade ribbon from the 19th annual parade on September 13, 1905. The ribbon has a medallion with a drawing of the bust of a fireman.

VINTAGE: Circa 1905.

SIZE: About 2-1/2" in width by 7" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid, aluminum with gold paint, celluloid, silk ribbon .

ATTACHMENT: N/A.

MARKINGS: RIBBON BADGES FROM GEO. A. SANFORD 23 HAWLEY ST., BOSTON. with a makers mark.
