ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1900 souvenir pitcher or creamer for the D&C (Detroit & Cleveland) Navigation Company. D&C was a dominant ship line for the Great Lakes region, steaming from 1868 until 1951. The front of the squarish pitcher shows a brightly painted scene of the steamer City of Cleveland, built in 1907. It is marked Bavaria on the bottom. VINTAGE: Circa 1900.

SIZE: About 3-5/8" in width by 3-15/16" in height and 2" in depth.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted porcelain.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: Hard-to-read maker mark and "BAVARIA" on bottom.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): There are a few small spots of light wear/discoloration with very minor wear to gold paint edging.
