ARTIFACT: This is a 1899 Woonsocket, Rhode Island Volunteer Fire Association hand tub muster ribbon for the 9th Annual Tournament of the N.E.S.V.F. (New England States Veteran Firemen's) League at Fall River, Massachusetts. The ribbon is blue with a white cockade bearing a sequined star and has gold bullion fringe at the bottom. The ribbon is in excellent condition.

VINTAGE: Circa 1899.

SIZE: Approximately 8-1/2" in height and 2-3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silk, gold bullion fringe, sequins, celluloid, gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety pin on bar.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The ribbon has little wear.
