ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1890s United States Naval Academy Annapolis Midshipman's shoulder insignia in bullion. The insignia is an eagle perched upon the top of an anchor.

VINTAGE: Circa 1890s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-9/16" in height and 2-13/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool embroidered in silk/cotton and bullion threads, mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn on.

MARKINGS: N/A

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Navy collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBJV20 LHEX05/06/20

CONDITION: 8(Very Fine - Excellent): The insignia has some light wear along the edge and a handsome embroidered patina, overall lightly tarnish and very fine condition.
