ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1890s pocket mirror from the Knights Templar Bradford Commandery #4 K.T. of Biddeford, Maine. Styled upon the ancient group of warrior-gentlemen who protected Christian travelers to the Holy Land, the Knights Templar is a modern-day fraternal society under the umbrella of Masonry. The mirror's decorative panel was printed by Whitehead & Hoag.

VINTAGE: Circa 1890s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-7/8" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid panel, metal frame, mirror.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: WHITEHEAD & HOAG NEWARK N.J.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a societies and organizations collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAX13 LBCX6/13

CONDITION: 6 (Fine+): The mirror has some small spots of wear to the reflective surface and yellowing/discoloration to the; still very usable.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
