ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1890s or early 1900s cuff link tray in Austrian cold painted bronze and marble. The beautiful maroon and cream marble base is adorned with a lone Arab sentry sitting with his rifle. The cold painted technique involved color application to Viennese cast pieces that did not undergo firing.

VINTAGE: Circa 1890s or early 1900s.

SIZE: Approximately 4" in width, 5-1/8" in length and 3-1/8" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Bronze with painted details, marble.

ATTACHMENT: Sentry is screwed into base.

MARKINGS: None.
