ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1880s or 1890s Winchester Repeating Firearms Company bore reflector in brass, wood and glass. It is marked WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. on one side (the left side, as it would sit in the rifle's breech). The slanted mirror allows the operator to see into the bore. Opposite the open end and behind the angle of the mirror is an intact grooved wooden plug.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1880s-1890s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-9/16" by 1-1/16" by 5/8".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass, wood, glass.

ATTACHMENT: Screws.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an old firearms accessory collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VAJJX14 LCEJX2/14 SeCDEX4/15

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The reflector shows only some light wear and tarnish with a few minor marks on the mirror.
