ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1880's - 1890's Member Lapel Badge for the United Order of Pilgrim Fathers. This fraternal organization was formed in 1879 in Lowell, Massachusetts with membership restricted to residents of the six New England states only. The badge shows the Mayflower in relief at its center and reads UOPF and EHF above and below the ship, as well as 1620 and 1879.

VINTAGE: Circa 1880's - 1890's.

SIZE: Approximately 7/8" in height x 7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enameled areas.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with C catch.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a societies, fraternities, and organizations collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. RAX94 VHEX1/11 SLAGEX09/22/24

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The pin shows light wear, mostly on reverse, and has a nice patina with some small spots of oxidation present; all the badge's enamel is intact.
