ARTIFACT: This is a great old circa 19th century tin for Imperial Gunpowder. The tin has a wonderful reddish-orange paper label in an ornate design with a mournful hunting dog and sly fox gracing the front. The powder was manufactured by the Eureka Powder Works in New Durham, New Hampshire.

VINTAGE: Circa 19th century.

SIZE: Approximately 4" in width and 4-3/4" in height and 1-7/8" in depth.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Tin with color paper label.

ATTACHMENT: No top.

MARKINGS: Manufactured BY EUREKA POWDER WORKS NEW DURHAM N.H.

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The tin has some small spots of moderate wear and aging; paper label is in very good condition; some oxidation on top.
