ARTIFACT: This is a paperback copy of the World War II battalion history of the US Army 832nd Engineer Aviation Battalion. It was written by Captain Gail Wright, and published near the end of the war. The 832nd served in both England and France, constructing and maintaining several aerodromes, as well as vital S&E (supply & evacuation) strips. The book has many black and white photograph's of the 832nd's handiwork as well as a roster by state and group photos in the back.

VINTAGE: Published 1945.

SIZE: 99 pages; approximately 7-3/4" in height and 5-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Oaktag cover, paper.

ATTACHMENT: Glued binding.

MARKINGS: Reproduced by 926th Engineer Aviation Regiment on rear cover.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWII United States Army battalion history collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBEX95 LAGEX2/14 SAGEX05/19

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The book has only some light wear and a couple of very small spots of discoloration, mostly to the cover.
