ARTIFACT: 1920's ??? 1930's United States Customs Inspector hat badge. The black and white enameled badge depicts the US Seal, spread-winged eagle in the center with an enameled shield on its chest, above it reads: "U. S. CUSTOMS" and below, "INSPECTOR".

VINTAGE: Circa 1920's -1930's

SIZE: Approximately 2 " x 1 7/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled brass

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing and two stabilizer pins.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Customs collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJM15 LBIEX4/15 SVBIEX08/26/19

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine - Very Fine): Badge shows moderate to heavy wear, minor damage and old repairs to enamel, much of the enamel remains intact.
