SUBJECT: This
is a Trans-Pacific Airlines Pilot Hat Badge from the late 1950’s.
VINTAGE:
circa 1957. SIZE: 2-3/4”
in width by 2” in height.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Gold plated brass with red, white,
and blue enameling
MARKINGS: None.
ATTACHMENT: Screw back.
ITEM NOTES:
This is the real thing! As of late I have decided to start slowly
liquidating my Airline wing collection. Watch my seller page for some
great wings, badges and service pins over the next few months. there will
be reserves, but the pieces will be well worth them!
CONDITION: Fine+:
good amount of wear and loss of gold plating. Small scrape at top above the
"A" in Airline. Screw post on back was lowered during period of
use, probably to suit the original owner.
