SUBJECT:  This is a Mohawk Airlines Pilot Wing from the early 1960’s.  

VINTAGE: circa 1962.             SIZE:   4-1/8” in length by 1-1/4” in height. 

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS:  Silver wire, tinsel, and bullion embroidered on black wool felt. Wing is sewn to a piece of blue-grey gabardine wool that was part of the pilot’s uniform.

MARKINGS: None.

ATTACHMENT:  To be sewn on.

ITEM NOTES:  This is the real thing! As of late I have decided to start slowly liquidating my Airline wing collection. Watch my seller page for some great wings, badges and service pins over the next few months. there will be reserves, but the pieces will be well worth them! 

CONDITION:   Very Fine+: Light signs of wear and tarnishing. The gabardine uniform piece that the wing is sewn to has a couple of nips, but the black wool of the wing itself is perfect and free from signs of mothing.
